♡ My approach
It’s my passion! I am a second-generation reflexologist following in my mum’s footsteps from the 80’s. I qualified over 25 years ago and to this day I still marvel at what feet, hands and ears can tell you. Reflexology mirrors what is going on within the body, mind and emotions.
The treatment plan
With regular treatment, balance can be restored within your body. Weekly or fortnightly visits may be recommended initially until a consistent improvement is noted . This may then progress to fortnightly and / or monthly sessions.
The longer you have had a condition or experienced symptoms, more treatments are usually required. Most individuals will experience some improvement and at the very least feel more relaxed after each session.
Reflexology Treatment
Reflexology is a complementary, relaxing non invasive therapy and can significantly reduce anxiety and stress.
Reflexology works on the principal that every part of the body, including organs, specific glands and body systems are reflected in the feet, hands, ears and face. Reflexologists work on body map systems.
By applying finger and thumb pressure techniques predominantly to the feet but also the hands and ears can stimulate the body’s own healing response.
By drawing on a variety of different reflexology techniques from continual professional development this can result in :-
Boosted energy levels
Restored body balance
improved circulation
Enhanced well being

Zu Qigong Energy foot work
I developed my own hay fever technique using hand reflexology and shared this with clients and professional colleagues.
Zu Qigong – a relatively new practice of foot energy work, learned a few years ago, works amazingly in my own parctice with fibromyalgia and Parkinson’s disease.
Experience means all feet are welcome. Large to small, cracked, verrucas, smooth and well cared for, to summer worn bare feet, hammer toes, toes missing to 6 toes! No foot has ever been turned away! Patients undergoing chemotherapy are also welcome with specialist permission but in this instance I do need to wear gloves.
Reflexology New Zealand
I have been involved with Reflexology New Zealand since 2010 and am currently President. I have also held roles as VP and Marketing.
My catch phrase to the organisation :-
“Let’s make reflexology a household name”.
I am an active member of Waikato Regional Reflexology Group and still have links with Auckland Regional Group. I encourage all fellow reflexologists to come along and share their reflexology and Zu Qigong knowledge and skills throughout New Zealand.
